Andreas Meyer-Schwickerath

Director and Member of the Board, British Chamber of Commerce in Germany

Andreas Meyer-Schwickerath, born in Münster/Westphalia, studied law and economics in Münster, Freiburg, Bonn and Hamburg.

Following his exams, he went to work in the U.S., initially at the EU Delegation to the UN, later as manager for Deutsche Bank New York, followed by a management assignment with Daimler-Benz AG Holding Co., New York. Daimler assigned him with senior management posts in Germany, last as head of public relations for a large corporate unit in Berlin. Later he became a senior manager of a German private bank.

Since August 2003, he assumed the assignment as director and member of the board of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany which counts around 1000 members.
