Born in Croydon near
London, Bryan Jeeves came to Liechtenstein in 1962.
He has been a member
of the British Swiss Chamber of Commerce since 1964, was the longest
serving Councillor and was Vice President from 1988 to 1991 and
President of this Chamber from 1991 to 1993. In July 2004 at the
BSCC AGM at Geneva, he received the rare award of Honorary Life
Membership of the BSCC in recognition of exceptional support and
commitment. He was elected during 1994 as Vice President of COBCOE.
He was president from 1995 - 2001, in which time COBCOE expanded
to cover 22 countries. He was awarded the title of honorary Chairman
in recognition of his successful presidency.
He is currently the Chairman
of the Jeeves Group of Companies and is on the board of many of
the group’s companies as well as many other domestic and foreign
companies.
From 1992-2001, he was
Honorary British Consul to the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Since 1966, he has been
active as interpreter and translator in Liechtenstein to the Princely
House, the Princely Government, the judiciary and private companies.
He has published the first ever-English version of Liechtenstein
Company Law (1992 & 1998).
Bryan Jeeves was for
many years an active jazz musician (clarinet and saxophone) and
this interest has led to participations in various firms in the
music field. He was elected in 1991 as first honorary member of
the Liechtenstein Tennis Association. He has been President of the
British Club in Liechtenstein since its formation in 1970, as well
as founding member and Chairman of the Conference of Foreign Associations
in Liechtenstein (KAFL).
Married since 1965 to
Hanni Jeeves-Ritter from Liechtenstein, he has one son
