Céline Duckworth
COBCOE Secretary General
Born from British and French parents and attending the German School
in Porto, Portugal, Celine Duckworth was able to speak four languages
at the age of six years old. She then read British and American
Studies at Aix en Provence University and went to complete her course
at the Sorbonne whilst at the same time reading International Relations
at ILERI Business School also in Paris.
Following a work placement
at the Franco British Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Celine held
several managerial positions with Level 3 Communications - an American
telecommunications start up – firstly setting up their property
portfolio in time for their fibre optic network to be built across
Europe and then in their Colocation Product Management team overseeing
the product life cycle and space efficiency. She then joined the
Corporate Services Team at DTZ Debenham Tie Leung advising corporates
and co-ordinating their property projects across Europe.
Celine is married to
John Duckworth and they have two sons.
Her main role is to:
• Establish good
working relationships with each Chamber of Commerce within the COBCOE
network and understand their needs, objectives and expectations;
• Promote and expand the role of COBCOE with existing and
prospective members;
• Strengthen and increase the membership of COBCOE;
• Develop and organise events and sponsorship programmes for
COBCOE in co-ordination with members.
