COBCOE Annual Conference 2008

The COBCOE Annual Conference is a once-a-year opportunity to meet and network with the Chairmen, Board Members and Executive Directors of our member chambers. Our 2008 Conference took place on 4th March 2008 in London.

The Conference includes round-table discussions on key issues faced by the COBCOE members and workshops as well as the much appreciated COBCOE market place, giving the opportunity for COBCOE Chambers to offer services to their sister Chambers. COBCOE held its formal Annual General Meeting which included elections. The day concluded with a Gala Dinner at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall where our speaker and Guest of Honour was easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, KBE and this included the Chamber of the Year Awards.

The day before the Conference COBOCE ran, for the first time a special Training Symposium for Directors followed in the evening by pre-conference dinners, one for Chamber Presidents and one for Chamber Directors.

This conference and training seminar was open to delegations from COBCOE Chambers and the Gala Dinner was open to their members as well as attending the conference.
