Individual British chambers must rely on their own – often limited - resources. As a member of COBCOE, every chamber now has the resources of the 25 other British chambers to call on.

Through a variety of networking and communication channels, COBCOE promotes best practice throughout the chamber network, finds and shares resources, and creates links from which every chamber can benefit.

This is what COBCOE does for your chamber:

Annual Conference– an exceptional networking opportunity
COBCOE’s annual all-day event for member chambers takes place in conjunction with its AGM. Held normally in London, this is a valuable opportunity for chamber directors and officers to access and exchange ideas and experience with other chambers. From how to increase membership and revenue, to improving services and adding value, COBCOE provides an ideal networking platform and information exchange.

Exchange visits and training programmes
COBCOE arranges valuable exchange visits and training programmes for chamber directors and staff.

Key business speakers
Not every chamber has access to top business speakers for their events. COBCOE assists by referring key speakers as requested.

COBCOE European Trade Guide
The COBCOE European Trade Guide 2007, with a distribution of 10,000 copies throughout the UK and Europe, has been coordinated by COBCOE with Trade & Communications International Ltd., and is designed to provide useful publicity and additional revenues for member chambers.
